Instructors Brian Chung and Ling Zili performed Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method (Foundations, Yilu, Erlu and Push Hands) during the World Taiji Day at the University of Sydney in Australia on Saturday 24 April 2021.
There were over 200 people at this event organised by the Tai Chi Association of Australia which was an excellent turnout as was held during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In attendance were disciples Janet Ho, Ling Zili, John Saw, Brian Chung, John Ho and Paul Pryce.

Our Wulian Practical Method team has been working with the Wulian Hospital of Chinese Medicine for over a year now. Today, the hospital and the Wulian Practical Method branch held an official opening ceremony, marking the establishment of Practical Method for all staff in the hospital.

The Daqingshan Chen Zhonghua Taiji Academy teaches Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method of GM Hong Junsheng and Hunyuan Taiji of GM Feng Zhiqiang. During this time of the pandemic, I had a very valuable opportunity to attend Shifu Chen Zhonghua’s online class. By listening, seeing and following the instructions given in the class I began to understand the principles of the Taiji practical method and apply them to yilu and push hands. Brennan Toh, disciple of Chen Zhonghua, recently visited the Ottawa Branch of the Chen Zhonghua Taiji Academy. Brennan is currently living in Regina, Saskatchewan.
As we know Master Chen Zhonghua does not allow students of Practical Method to socialize. This event became a practical and teaching session!

After becoming a disciple last year I solidified my plans about my future with Practical Method. One result is the foundation of an official association in Austria. After some back and forth with the responsible officials regarding the association rules we, Fabian K. and Pawel M. got the permission to begin our association activities.
Our association is registered as acting globally and not only in Austria. This opens new possibilities for the European community which is emerging now, since people from other countries can become members, too, benefiting from our services.
An association allows us to act as an official entity, like a company. We can now easily access public training space and be official partners for schools, companies and other projects.
It’s exciting. We are eager to begin our work and establish our association in Austria and abroad. It’s a long way, but so is learning Practical Method which equipped us with the right set of tools already through our training: continuous work and time.
We are preparing materials for marketing new events now. There will be new courses in and around Vienna and we’re planing events to promote Practical Method.

Daqingshan 2017 Year-end Hunyuan and Practical Method Celebration was held on Daqingshan on Jan. 6, 2018. It was organized by Han Rui. Over 50 people participated at the event.
There were demonstrations of Hunyuan 24, Practical Method Yilu, Cannon Fist and Hunyuan Sword form.
There were also entertainments. The party ended with a dinner.
