
Wismin came from Philadelphia for four weeks, studied with James Chan.
In May of 2011 I travelled to Daqingshan for the third time; my earlier visits took place in 2007 and 2009. The purpose of this trip was to receive further instruction from my Master, Chen Zhonghua, and to offer him my support by taking part in the First International Hong Junsheng Taijiquan Seminar and Competition. While commitments back in Canada meant that this trip was shorter than previous ones, I feel I learned a great deal from this visit. Read more

Finished Yilu with all students. Starting Cannon Fist this morning. To the second Buddha’s Warrior Attendant Pounds Mortar today. Recently students have learned Yilu, pole shaking and Guan Dao.

In the past three days Master Chen Jinyuan taught us Guan Dao form he learned from GM Feng.

This shows the importance of preparation, if Steve has arrived a week before instead of the day before, his body would be more open in the fight.
Master Chen corrected Levi: “You went down, don’t do that” Fetch water is a stretch on the front leg, not moving down.
Gino is the only student doing weapon form, Steve Chan was planning to, but his peeling toe nail is still bothering him.
