Basic movement and structure are correct. Your movement comes from your shoulder. You should initiate movement and power from inside the Kua and push outwards to the shoulders and knees.

You are able to separate your body into two parts and move as two parts. But the movement comes from moving your shoulder against your knee. The Kua did not initiate the move. Please ensure that you initiate your move from the Kua crease line and move from there (inside) outwards to the knee and shoulder.
