Neigong refers to the internal energy. It is the part of Taiji that is difficult to teach, to learn and to explain.
In this mini lesson, Master Chen Zhonghua tries to teach the most basic elements of Neigong training. He focuses on three basic physical ways of attaining internal strength. 1. Create compressed power. 2. Create twisting power. 3. Create rotational power while maintaining compression and twisting power.

This “Neigong1-20210501” video is a gem. Highly recommended.
This succinct video is an important one to acquire for a solid understanding and training of the three main components of neigong (as practiced in Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method). You will also learn how to combine the three components in your training, using the first form in Yilu as an example.
Equipped with this knowledge you will be able to immediately start introducing power and substance (internal training) into your forms. And, from thereon, you can confidently start on a trusted road towards pragmatic neigong development.
This is an amazing video, firstly explaining 3 very important and sometime hard to do concepts, but also how we bring these into our movements in the yilu form.
Shifu explains and demonstrates these actions very clearly. Thank you!!!
