Kelvin,

What’s the rush? Slow down.

001 gave your group a free 2 day workshop with a lot of goodies. How come you are not posting anything here or in your blog? Personally I am looking for RESPECT and GRATITUDE to him. Respect to your kung fu brothers and gratitude to having learnt some really (in)valuable stuff. Learn this before learning your taiji.

This sounds like a bullying post to me.

Unfortunately, I lost all those pictures along with many other ones due to a problem on my SD card.

Am I missing something? We were and are most thankful to secret agent 001. The nature of his visit was one senior brother sharing his hard earned knowledge with his younger brothers, which was well received by everyone. Kelvin acted yeoman as usual with his camera. If there is a *workshop* being conducted by other than Shifu, I’m sure it would be posted on this website as it has been elsewhere.

Allan,

You are quite right that you are missing something here – knowing the proper etiquette – showing your appreciation in your blog, post would be the least you should do to the most senior disciple on Master Chen. Losing the photos won’t stop you doing that, I presume.

You are trying to bully Allan too?

Frank, you are being rather presumptuous yourself don’t you think. Why you have these expectations I don’t know, but it strikes me as rather arrogant to think it is your place to make such judgments simply because you would really like to see something.

Kelvin has a job, a family, practices his yilu some 20 times a day, teaches classes locally, organizes events to make some of the best workshops available to experience the wealth of Master Chen’s teaching, and writes frequently in his blog, sharing what he has learned with others. It is a very large contribution, and I can assure you he has nothing but respect for Ronnie Yee, and the opportunity to learn from him. Is it really your place to demand footage or details of events? Perhaps you should feel fortunate so much information and footage IS provided and shared.

Bruce,

I have no problem for you to call me ‘presumptuous’ as you are entitled to your opinion. In fact I struggled and wondered myself if I should make the post, because I thought it is important to know what is the ‘proper’ manner/attitude, and I don’t like what I see in this case.

However I am curious about your 2 assertions:

1. Are you the fly on Kelvin’s wall that you know he is so busy with other things that he has no time to make a post?
2. Are you the worm in Kelvin’s belly that you are sure that Kelvin ‘has nothing but respect’ to 001? (No offence, ‘worm in someone’s belly is just a typical Chinese saying that you know what the other person is thinking)

Or are you just making up some convenient truths to suit your arguments?

Be careful everyone, things are getting a little out of hands here. First Allan only asked a question, then Brian formed an opinion, then James is making an accusation.

James, if you say that I am bullying and if I am proven not, you run the risk of being the one who bullies! Please be careful about using this term, to me and to others.
