Discipleship Ceremony – Dave Dahms

by Rachelle Bergeron on 2010/12/02

Dave Dahms is currently a business student at Carleton University.
In 2003, Dave and his brother attended the Ottawa Martial Arts Gala, where they attended Master Chen’s demonstration on Yilu and push hands techniques. Dave was so impressed with this demonstration that he decided to investigate further and attended his first Ottawa workshop in 2004. After later attending the 2004 Hunyuan World Seminar and completing high-school, Dave decided to dedicate 3 months to full-time training with Master Chen in Edmonton. After a few months of living in Edmonton, Dave went to China to participate as one of Master Chen’s first full-time training participants on Da Qing Shan Mountain.
Since then, Dave has attended several workshops and has worked very hard at improving his form and push hands technique. Dave feels that every time he attends a seminar with Master Chen, he is provided with an opportunity to learn and be challenged by Master Chen’s teachings and insights.
