Dave Dahms and Daniel Mroz discipleship on Nov. 27, 2010

On Nov. 27, 2010, Dave Dahms and Daniel Mroz were inducted as disciples of Master Chen Zhonghua in Ottawa, Canada. A private ceremony was held in the Dragon restaurant in Ottawa Saturday evening after the workshop.
Dave Dahms started Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method with Master Chen Zhonghua in 2003. He has been a graduate of two of Master Chen’s full time courses and has been trained at the Daqingshan Taiji Training center in China. Dave is currently a student as the Carlton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Daniel Mroz was a student of Cailifo (Mandarin spelling) and various Chinese martial arts under famous masters such as Kenneth Cohen prior to learning Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method with Master Chen Zhonghua. He has consistently participated in Master Chen Zhonghua’s workshops in Ottawa and has visited him in Edmonton on an annual basis. He has also participated at Master Chen’s full time courses on Daqingshan on a regular basis (monthly participation). Currently Daniel is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa.

The ceremony was attended by local friends and fellow disciples James Tam, James Chan and Rachelle Bergeron.  Master Chen Zhonghua is the International Standard Bearer of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng. He is also a disciple of Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang in the lineage of the Hunyuan Taiji system. Master Chen Zhonghua possess authentic taiji abilities from his two masters and are transmitting his knowledge through a proper process of traditional martial art lineage transmission.  For a complete list of Master Chen Zhonghua’s disciples please go to: Chen Zhonghua’s disciples list.
