The camp facility is super. The dorm is comfortable, the gym is larger enough to hold 40 plus people, and most important, the food was great, tasty, lots of variety. The staff were very friendly. The lake is beautiful. I wish we could do some canoeing. I’m from Phoenix, AZ. The weather was a bit different. I didn’t mind rain and cold. Really enjoyed the fall vibrant color of Victoria. I’ll come back again in the future. Hope we stay at the same camp.

For the tai chi part, master Chen has always been doing a great job explaining the intricate, sometimes delicate skills (not on, not off). Never in a bored moment. Always exciting, stimulating, occasional enlightening (I don’t know if it’s true. We had too many “Ah-ha” moments before). It’s important to be with master Chen as much as possible. A week long camp is definitely better than 2 or 3 day workshop. In the first 3 days, your memories of previous studies were coming back.

In the later part of the camp, you started to experience more of master Chen’s teaching, and some of them started to sink into your mind and body. That’s really matters regarding learning and training. I feel this week long camp helped me to achieve a big step in my tai chi training. Thank you, Gordon, for organizing this week long camp. And thank Master Chen for such outstanding teaching.
