Showcase April 26 Report

by Allan Belsheim on 2014/05/26

Scot Broadsword 2I finally got the few photos I have access to sorted and edited so this is quite a late posting of the Edmonton International Qigong/ Taiji Day Showcase from April 26, 2014.

There was quite a good turnout with over 30 students and guests attending. We started with a brief introduction to Tai Chi and our instructors: Master Allan Belsheim, Master Yen Gee, Scot Jorgensen and Rion Swanson. Audience participation involved Standing Post and a shortened Qigong presentation. Scot Jorgensen did a solo Broadsword form which was followed by The Hunyuan 24, Yilu , Straight Sword and Canon Fist Demonstrations with staff, students and guests participating.

A big “Thank You” to all who attended and congratulations to the organizers: Beverly, Carol, and Karin with advice and T shirt design by Master Allan Belsheim.

Glad to hear you are heading to Daqingshan- it will be fabulous! So many changes since I was last there. The green areas of the Studio is Chroma Green for filming and photos – we can add any background if desired this way. We already have the entire Yilu and Hunyuan Qigong ready for publishing in Granmaster Chen’s new book. Erlu is started so much more use will be made of that floor and 2 walls.

Your Scotland place is beautifully located and I hope it is prospering. Best wishes!
