  4. Sink down. Press and shrink your waist to get ready.
Right hand is still on opponent’s torso.

  5. Push your opponent out.
Make sure the front knee cannot move.
Power from rear foot to front hands.
Head, shoulder, knee, foot  and floor try to provide a vertical line. Sanshou5.jpg

As this is application, we did not execute according to precision of the form. Rather, we do so according to precision of getting the job done!

My question is what is the difference between our lineage yi , pao chui extc. And yours you seem to have alott of more circles and smaller movements. I’m told that as we prgress our circls become smaller and our forms become smaller movements like yours but I’ve never seen grandmaster do this I was just wondering if u could please reply back. Thank you

Hi Dean! Sorry I don’t have an answer for your questions as I only practice the style of Practical Method which has the same historical lineage as yours but is physically different in movements. Probably the best way is for you to read a bit more about the Practical Method (there is a ton of information on this website) and compare with yours by yourself. I am not knowledgeable enough on your style to make a comparison.

The practical method system does not have within it a change from time to time. Only the quality is improved over time but not physical shape.

Thanks for your question, though.
