Ive been getting alot out of all the new mini lessons posted lateley and of course they tie directly together very nicely, but for me this video gives such a highly synthesized instruction and analysis of so many key points that Master Chen is always drilling into our brains….folding space by adding individual body parts to create a connection from hand to foot, using a third point to tap the line, using the middle to produce evenness, and the differentiation of purpose of the two lines. Many other bells going off while seeing students being manually put in the correct position to feel and demonstations of directed usage, really great lesson cant wait to get corrected on it.
Hi, Master Chen I wanna ask: How I know if I have the correct alignment? What is the feeling? I try this, and I think that ain’t using muscles but like Master Chen said is not what we think.
Really the answer to this question goes something like this:
1. Master Chen has to correct you.
2. Do your best to repetitively follow the rules (this is quite effective).
3. When we are under pressure and we feel nothing it is possible that we have some alignment.

Don’t rely on any feeling. Use some external means to measure your compliance with the principle(s), e.g. use an object as a reference, take a video of your self doing the action.
