Master Chen’s Phoenix Workshop

by Ping Wei on 2012/05/31

I am so happy that Master Chen will visit Phoenix on Nov. 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday, based on most recent update). If people from out of town would like to visit and join us, I can host two more people in my house. Can’t wait.

Hello Ping Wei,

I was actually planning to fly down from Toronto to Las Vegas, Monday Nov.12, but since I would be so close to Phoenix, I’d love to come earlier and take part in the workshop with you all that weekend. What is your contact info?

Cheers,
Ken

Hello Ping Wei,

I am new here, Master Chen’s explanation in those video trailers caught my attention. Presuming this is open to the public, I would like to attend this Phoenix workshop. Please provide a bit more information (including cost, etc…) on this workshop so I can make travel arrangement. I will have to fly from Southern California.

Thanks,
Al

My contact info: peace_defender2003@yahoo.com, 602-373-3457 (cell phone)
Please send me an email so I can give you detailed direction to my home.
Aaron: Yes, I can host you if you don’t mind sleeping on the floor (sleeping bag).
Al: Master Chen’s classes are open to the public. You are very welcome to join us.

Based on my previous experience, I found that master class format suited us the best. Student’s levels are different. It’s best to be one-on-one with Master Chen. So, Master Chen can specifically address to you, and give you ideas of your future training. When Master Chen is teaching one student, other participants will observe the class. This really benefits everyone. I fortunately can do this way since I have a small group.
The fee is $150 per one hour master class. You can stay for the whole day to observe other master classes.
If you need more detailed info and to make reservations, please email me. I will reply your email as soon as I can.
Hope see you in Phoenix.

Ping Wei, I may attend the workshop in Phoenix. If so, do you have floor space available for my sleeping bag?

Thank You

The workshop was superlative. Two days watching and participating in master’s classes with Master Chen is an eye-opening experience. I came away with many ideas to work on, as well as several pieces of Yilu to refine and correct. The Phoenix group is both technically skilled, and a lot of fun to work with. Ping Wei an excellent host, and went out of his way to make sure all the guests were comfortable and taken care of.
