I found this video invaluable for learning Yilu from being in another continent. I have made decision to do first 13 first and really like the corrections, however i have just one query due to camera angle being behind Master Chens back when at 40 seconds ( I thin the words “lock and stretch” are used). What is locked is it the elbow? or wrist? I suspect it is the elbow locked. And what is stretched the forearm?

The rest is really nice to follow. in fact i think if more 13 corrections were done for complete beginners like me, i would just purchase those and use in conjunction with the yilu detailed video. Just some food for thought guys.

thanks

Hey Asad,

My recollection and understanding of what Master Chen was saying to me during that correction was to stretch out my right arm (not specifically just elbow or wrist) to the point where tension with the left hand is established (basically a straight line between right hand and left hand)…and then to lock, or maintain that tension/line.

Hope that helps,
Ken
