This is a fantastic addition to the Basic Foundations video. At this point I have studied a variety of videos. If someone asked me to recommend videos for a beginner, I would suggest three: Basic Foundations, “Yilu first 13 moves simple lesson” and this one, “Introduction to Practical Method in Italy in 2010”.
I particularly liked the hands on explanation. With another person’s hands physically touching Master Chen, you can better see the body movement, for example, the slight rotation of the shoulder and kua or kua and knee.
Really awesome push-hands demo! Hard to believe. But it does happen! The other section on the details of the positive circle and restrictions/requirements of the body and limbs is excellent. A “must-have” for the beginner and for those who cannot attend Master Chen’s workshop to feel what happens to the major joints and limbs. as fundamental requirements.
