This seminar gave many students an opportunity to work closely with Master Chen on movement relationships: hand to foot, elbow to knee, and shoulder to waist. Qua exercises and coordination exercises were used as part of the learning of relationships.
It was noted that Yilu is the authentic transmission of Chen Taiji. It is only through practicing the Yilu that students will realize the full potential of Chen Taiji. Many thanks to Master Chen for coming and sharing his experience and insights into Chen Taiji.

Hi Rachelle,
Does the Ottawa group have any regular practice on Saturday or Sunday? I am visiting Ottawa from Toronto on May 21-22, 2011. I wonder if there is a chance to meet some of you during your practice. Thanks.
Kelvin
Hi Kelvin,
A small group of us trains in Ottawa every Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Experimental Farm. The Chen group was started by James Chen when he was in Ottawa and we hope to continue this tradition. I like to take this opportunity to invite anyone to come and enjoy the fresh air and practice Chen Taiji.
Here is the location –

Unfortunately, I haven’t arrived at Ottawa at that time yet. I am leaving Toronto at 8 am tomorrow.
