Hi, my name is Mike Deal and I am an Oral English teacher in Hunan. I’ve been learning taiji for two years now and discovered your site quite by accident. I read with interest of workshops to be conducted in early May. I’m not sure if you’re prepared for visitors from the mainland itself, but I would be interested in any information you can provide.

We do accept visitors from the mainland. It is however, important to book early. The May 2011 event will only allow a max of 300 people and as you know that is a small number for China. We already have close to 200 reservations. Please check this page for further information in December.

Hi from Madrid, Spain. There is a group here studying Chen Style Practical Method and we’ve just learned about this Seminar and, of course, are interested. We do have some questions, though. First, are there still open spots or is everything fully booked? Second, we have been unable to find any information on registration fees and the like. Thanks in advance for any information you may supply.

Best regards
Pedro

The Daqingshan Mountain Resort charge $65.00 per day that includes food and accommodation. For the people who are staying at the mountain resort there is no extra charge for the seminars. Private lesson and special group lessons (for example for a group of English speaking students) are given if the masters have extra time. Some charges may apply. Please contact full@chenzhonghua.com to give your details of how many people, how many days, etc. There is a push hands competition (9-12) in the same location immediately after the seminars. As to registration, we have over two hundred Chinese applicants but only have accepted 100 so far to save room for foreign guests. After March 31, 2011, all spaces will be given to local students on waiting list. We can accommodate 150 people on the mountain.
