Internal and external in the circles

by Khamserk on 2010/05/27

Here are some thoughts from an evening class with Master Chen and Allan in January.

-In the circles the first move is outside, the second move is inside.

-The first move is never wrong, but wherever the shoulder ends up, it must remain fixed.

-2 analogies were:

A bottle of water  of water with the lid on.  The outside doesn’t move but the inside (the water) can move freely.

A suspension bridge with two fixed points, one on each end, can flex in the middle.
