The others are no match to Chen Ziqiang.

I believe that he is 10 years older than the other competitors, so he has 10 + more years of experience. If you watched the entire series, his fights were stopped after 2 rounds while all the others went 3 rounds. The other fighters seemed more into the competition until they had to spar with Chen Ziqiang, they all seemed to hold back at that point. This is just my 2 cents worth.

I agree with you Tim, it seems the other guys are holding back when fighting Chen Ziqiang.
One of his fights he barely kicks the guy and he goes flying off the stage. His opponent seems to be overacting to every technique done to him. The last fight his opponent seems like he is trying harder.
I don’t doubt he has great skills, but it seems the others are holding back and it was competition to showcase Chen Ziqiang. And this is my @ 1.95 cents worth (Canadian funds) 🙂

Chen Ziqiang was awesome to watch. Very good techniques and skill compared to the other fighter’s.

Shifu, I posted this link in my Facebook profile and there was a question about whether these fights are real sparring matches or choreography (like pro wrestling in the USA). Are these fights in this type of Chinese TV show real full contact fights? Thanks in advanced.
