To Train or to Nurture?

There are many meanings to the concept of training in the context of Chinese martial art and related issues. Two meanings are of concern in our training:

1. To nurture.

2. To smelt; temper with fire.

Nurture is a concept mainly reserved for qigong practices. We will not go into details here.

To smelt is the concept that is central to Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method.
