- Split: The action of two (or more) parts of the body moving away from each other. The key is that there must be a fixed spot (does not mean a real physical spot) in this action. This fixed point is also the center of the action.

So if you were to have an opponents wrist and elbow (right) and assuming this is a controlled static excersise what would be your first and most logical choice for a point. Is this a point in your body or theirs.
The point is normally in between your own hands. That would mean in between his write and elbow. It moves a little depending on how he powers up.
