This video clarifies the sequence in how the two feet power the Ground Dragon move. I find this actually quite difficult to do. This is consistent with how a complete positive/negative circle is powered by two feet like two pistons, which is mentioned in a different video.
Master Chen:
Thank you for making this very important video available. The principles discussed are important for every serious practicioner to develop: activating the rear thigh, how to power from dantien, one body part still and powered from elsewhere, fighting without slack, pumping the front foot vs pulling, etc. This video is an important link for developing no distinction between “gong” and “fa.” With much appreciation,
Matt
Ground Dragon is the meat grinder. Well all of Yilu is a meat grinder , but this set of movements portrays the grinder created . When done properly, the grinder is felt.
Master Chen gives us an excellent demonstration of the principle that the “waist is the axle of a wheel” and” erect like a balance scale” .
Thank you, I found this review of the difference between a pull and a push enlightening.
