I am working on: elbow in, this principle is to keep the arm structure, even though it is not moving inward, in all moves elbow has to have an inward intent

I am working on separating movements into 3 while stepping.
As a protective mechanism for my knees, I tend to tense the upper half of my body resulting in shoulders rising. I need to separate the upper half or my body from the lower half and learn to ‘sink’ the upper half closer to the dantien. Accomplish by deliberately tucking the tailbone, lowering the shoulders, and maintaining the central axis. Now just remember to do this in every form.
