Screenshots of Master Chen’s Yilu

by Michael Winkler on 2012/11/20

I did publish a gallery with screenshots of Master Chen’s Yilu 2009 on my webpage as a tool for learning the choreography. I also want to privode all the form names in English & Chinese (Characters plus pinyin with tones).

So I like to ask everybody to have a look and leave some comments in order to correct mistakes, esp. with the Chinese names. Also they are not complete yet.

Feel free to copy or make pdf of it (firefox has this feature now). I did change things on my site, here’s the new link: http://www.practicalmethod.de/bilder/lehrmaterial/yilu-die-erste-form/teil-1

To see the other parts, go to the main menu “Bilder – Lehrmaterial – Yilu”.

Michael, I think this is a fantastic idea. Looks great. It is good for anyone practicing the practical method, especially new students. My one comment/request would be a downloadable .pdf file, that way I could print it out and give it to students new to Yilu. I hope you are well. -Spencer

Very good.

It would be much nice to:
– high resolution
– video shot from different angle (x, y, z = 3 dimension)
– camera move along with master Chen

So we will accurately see lines, rotations etc.

That’s would be the ultimate standard.

Routine Names in English

Routine Names in Chinese

Note that the Chinese version has the preparation and closing counted as the first and last ones, so the list showed 83.

e.g. The 2nd one should be
2. 拦擦衣
