The distinct Yilu demonstration of the 13 moves is most helpful for beginners and experienced players. Thanks for posting. When is the new 2011 Yilu Detailed Instruction Video coming out, Master Chen??
The explanation and hand on teaching of “Initial Closing” is a must to understand the execution and application of that move. Highly recommended.
Awesome! it’s almost as if you are catching the intention, merging with it, and then leading it by staying just ahead, all in a split second. the dynamics remind me of a wave breaking on the shore. The undertow that is retreating back out into the ocean pulls you in but where it meets the next wave coming in it creates a vertical lift (or float) but because the force coming in (the rear 2/3) is greater….it crests over the opponent. i like how the student in the background giggles like a child when he sees the intention coming out of the top of the head…or so it appears…amazing how something seemingly so small…that it couldn’t possibly make a difference…has such a huge added effect.
Very helpful and precise movements to learn and exploit.
