I wasn’t sure if I was going to glean anything from this video, but it contained some very good and key concepts. I see that the way the Practical Method form is done is so the energy does not leak out (through excessive bending and tossing). The example of trying to hit someone with a rock was excellent. We normally use external techniques whereby the rock (energy) stays in the hand, whereas in internal technique we want the rock (energy) to leave the hand. We want the energy to come out, that is why the center/core/hands don’t really move. Finally, the comment at the end about using the body structure to throw the foot out was very enlightening. Now I need to go practice.

Thanks

Many important concepts explained to answer Alex question during the full time session. 21:00 onward, Master Chen talk about relation between tightness and power “If it is all stretch tight, this move comes out”
Cheers 🙂
