When we learn the form we must copy what we see. This is not wrong. Form means to get from here to there. What’s wrong is how we get there, the way we do it. The form must look the same but the action must be exactly the opposite of what you would come up with on your own.
-No move means anything that has size or distance cannot move. However, this does not mean that anything that cannot move cannot be moved. -Say there are 10 body parts: 5 parts can move while 5 parts cannot. As long as you are human you will move the wrong 5 parts. Therefore we must remove all human movements. And train until every movement, though it might look the same, is totally different.

is “no move” defined for each posture from yilu, or can we define some general rules for the entire form?
In general movements must come from rotation in the joints. Any straight part of the body must be “moved” by these rotations. You will notice that if you follow this rules, you will absolutely not be able to move at all. It is this conversion that will make you absolutely different from all others.
I think I can see now.We must use the body as a complicated piston which opens and closes sustaining the lines while the contact point is not moving. The attention of the partener is on contact point, but behind a structure is built.
There is no move just complicated open and close who sustain the lines according to the applications.
Thank you Master Chen!I whish you a Happy New Year!
