1) worked on steps after diagonal single whip. If need to get to a wider stance to avoid having the knees “hang over” feet, it’s okay to take one or more smaller intermediate steps until get to desired wider stance. Then center.
This can be applied to single whip in other places as well. do NOT need to go very low for single whip, first part.
Be aware of knees throughout the entire form and also tuck in tailbone.
2) Yin/yang; first establish between finger and elbow…. one going in, one going out, yin and yang separation
once establish finger to elbow, then can proceed to shoulder/elbow, shoulder/kua and kua to foot.
