I studied Yang style taiji for 5 years and Wu Style taiji for 15 years, until beginning Practical Method in 2011. I was accepted as GM Chen Zhonghua's disciple in the summer of 2014 in New York.
Good form Bruce, it shows that you have learn from the videos you have been buying. This is the speed that the chinese students do at Daqingshan. It will train cardio also improve overall strength.
Thanks Wilkin, I am developing an appreciation for why the yilu must be done more quickly at times. Lots of benefits as you mentioned, and a very good way to “test” you integrity. Although I mostly see lots of tossing, I appreciate you kind words. I have lots of new things to build in and correct after private lessons with Master Chen in Toronto, so will have to slow down and simplify, then gradually work to speed up again.
