Every workshops has a different flavor depending on the student groups. In Toronto, Master Chen usually talk more about theory and has lively discussion with the small group of students.

Although this series of video caused me acute anxiety when I first watched them, I would now highly recommend any serious taiji practitioner study them carefully. They so fundamentally challenged my view of taiji and many of the concepts are intellectually very difficult to understand (at least for me), and required quite a lot of research, but!!!!!! on the other side of what felt like a meat grinder of finely meshed gears, my view has been transformed into something much more useful, and my training has been pushed back towards the direction of the narrow path sided by two cavernous ditches filled with rules!
