Master Chen! You give us so much in this video! It’s hard not to be excited. So much clarity on “openness in the joints”, the layers of seperated body functions producing the links in the chain, It’s very clear the way you describe and demonstrate it. The piece on “bearing out the line” is phenomenal, and really show what can be achieved when indavidually trained principles like “matching”, “even/or proportional”, “full” and “aim”,are synthesized with intent . Watching the “Full” Online mini lesson, “Taiji Movement Connections” and “Toronto 11-9-26” #1 and#2 were excellent primers for being able to get going in the right direction towards understanding what is physically necessary. Seeing you teaching these things so openly is highly motivating. Also, thank you for the slower version of Yilu in the beginning. Very helpful for learning more of the choreography.
Master Chen on “To Bear Out a Line”— ” The real power is in the middle…. you can not see it, you can not feel it, you can not stop it….. that is the best part.”
