Great corrections from Master Chen. He lines you up to feel the size of the line, but reproducing it alone is still difficult.
When i watched it, a quote of Master Chen came into my mind that says, ” It´s very small”.
What i mean is, that supporting the line (“adding”) requires only very small internal corrections that produce enormous power.
That was a very great lesson, thanks a lot to Master Chen!
this is an amazingly clear visual example of taiji principles at work, when pressure is applied to the lead arm, rather than working directly against it or trying to avoid it, master chen guides his student to use countervailing rotational force (pulling the elbow back) to equalize yin and yang, accomplishing stabilization of center and simultaneously using opposing rotational forces to project energy in a straight line, very complex and informative, thank you for letting us look in.
