When ancient art, extra talented people and new technology emerge together, wonderful things like this happen. Thank you Master Chen and Michael Koh for this historic begining of sharing LIVE the secrets of Chen style Taijiquan for the whole world. People brought together have mutual benefits, interests and Joy! I watched part of yesterday’s workshop with delight and I am watching today again, now, although I prefer the real Master Chen and real workshop. Hope to have you back again in 2012 here in Ottawa Master Chen! With gratitude Nona 🙂

This is great. For better and for future similar live streaming, I suggest people clear the space between Master Chen and the camera.

Worked fine here, noted down “the short side is horizontal and the long side is vertical”. Thank you to all who made it possible.

Thank you all for viewing this LIVE stream…. we are learning how to do this properly and gaining some experience. Sorry that it is not perfect, but we have learned something to improve this LIVE stream technic in the future. Poor resolution, voice quality, position of camera…etc.
The 1st day, 1st half of the LIVE stream is using iPhone…please comment the video and audio quality.
The 2nd half of 1st day, iphone battery flatted out, we switched to notebook’s built-in cam.
The 2nd day, we used a external USB logitech webcam.

That was a really nice opportunity…thank you. The mobility of the iphone was a plus but as you were moving to get better vantage points so people at home could see, i think the combination of your movement plus the phone trying to auto-focus led to a very glitchy stuttered effect..the quality of the external webcam seemed to be the best but the dynamic nature of master chen’s workshops constantly moving to different locations back and forth to the whiteboard etc. left us out of the “shot” much of the time..perhaps if the web cam was located from a high position so we could see over all the eager participants from a downward angle and a better mic situation would help…i could hear with my computer speakers turned all the way up but when the T mobile ads would pop up it would blast me out of my chair…the chatroll was an added bonus and i think could be very useful for people at home to discuss whats going on although mostly it was like watching a family reunion which was perhaps another benefit …such a nice Taiji family…really appreciate the access and all the effort to make it work…would consider it a success being a trial run and all…

Michael Koh, I am not a student of the Practical Method, but an admirer. Not only is it amazing to watch the videos, read the comments, blogs, and etc. buy Master Chen and his students, it is inspiring. For someone who is fascinated by what the human body can produce but has no one to have a face to face, and/or body to body interaction with, I want to Thank You, Master Chen and all his students who participate on this website.

It was really great! Thank you for arrange it on live so that we can study from Master Chen for 2 days. The video and audio quality was improved in the second day. If Master Chen used a wireless mic would be better so that we can still hear his teaching even he was far away from the camera. If there were 2 cameras in different angles would be good so we can open 2 links if one camera was blocked, or else if the camera could be moved around would be perfect..
