在我看来,大多数人并不了解练拳时全身是应该有螺旋劲的。虽然他们都看见过古书上的陈式太极拳的人身缠丝图所代表的身上各条劲路的缠绕。极少人能解释、甚至并不明白这些线条到底是说的什么原则。显而易见,不仅全身练就缠丝劲重要,而且明白要明了为什么这种缠丝劲和它产生的能量对这门拳术太重要了。

螺旋劲有其特性,使之在太极拳训练中占有数席重要因素。
