Being able to “stack the joints” is an important skill in Practical Method. It means not only that all joints have to be aligned to be able to receive the oncoming force, it also means that they have to react in sequence.

New Year’s day, a beautiful sunny day in Phoenix, Arizona. Today’s training theme is Yin and Yang split.
During a weekend workshop in Maple Ridge, B.C. Canada on Dec. 18, 2011, Gino Nasato of Victoria, B.C. Canada became Master Chen Zhonghua’s latest disciple in the lineage of Hong Master Hong Junsheng’s Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method system. Gino is Master Chen Zhonghua’s 90th disciple.
The ceremony was attended by 16 people from Maple Ridge, Vancouver, Seattle, Vancouver Island and Philadelphia.
With Master Chen’s permission I’ll be giving a short introductory workshop in Brest, France, hosted by my good friend Erwan Cloarec. I hope to present Master Chen’s approach and give French and Breton practitioners a chance to discover the Practical Method. The French description is below: Read more

2011年10月中旬，陈中华先生在香港授课后于25日回到大青山。27日，应吴绍志，李洪滨，董建波等人的邀请，从大青山来山东临沂授课。适值我在大青山侍师在侧，有幸同往。
27日下午，晁舰先生把我们接到临沂‘八马茶业’二楼一间宽敞的茶室内，大家边饮茶边向陈先生请教。当时在座的学生有吴绍志，李洪斌，董建波，崔爱萍，孙健，王姝心等人。

Edmonton Hunyuantaiji Academy is having a Seminar and combining it with an Open House this year. The Seminar covers Foundations, Yilu and corrections, Theory and Push Hands as well as the possibility of Broadsword review. Seminar starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm. Open House is from 10 am to 1 pm.
