Thank you so much for this video Master Chen. It does an excellent job of tying many big concepts together, walking us through Taiji’s main power creation mechanism…… from theory, to method, to application:

– training the spring force –

-job of each joint in the three joint system
-how (don’t move) applies differently to each joint
-role of sensitivity

– laying the tracks –

-single lock, double lock, invisible track (connection)
-moving the middle to create evenness/proportionality
-“on the body it has no fixed position… it can be anywhere….
it can do anything it wants to….”
-the “track” (alignment) is manipulated according to the situation
-moving the train on the track

– drills to actualize the method –

-converting the opponents power
-returning/circulating energy (force/power)
-circle becomes a line (with a top and bottom…front and back
or side to side— 3 dimensional “demarcation” )
-why you cannot retreat or yield when converting power
-zhuan guan “turning of the joint”
-“fight for the meridian becoming fight for the dot”
-he who controls manipulation of all aspects of the dot will win
