Mr. Hong Junsheng (1907-1996) of Yu County, Henan Province was an indoor Taijiquan disciple of Mr. Chen Fake for 15 years and as the result has received true transmission of the art. After many years of inheriting the tradition and developing it, Mr. Hong has brought the essence of Taijiquan to a scientific and philosophical level and provided a systematic analysis of the inherent laws of Taijiquan; and at the same time able to demonstrate them visually in front of everyone. He is the first to propose the use of the mechanical concept of “neutral equilibrium” in Taiji. He has his own unique perspective on “rotation” and “silk reeling”.

Chen Zhensheng, also known as Waterheart, Gonghe, and Liaoweng. When he was young, he studied Chinese wrestling, Shaolin and then Yang style taijiquan, Sun Style Taijiquan , Wuu Style Taijiquan and Chen Style Taijiquan. He became a disciple of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng in 1978 in the lineage of Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method. He is a major lineage holder of Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method.

Cai Shengye was born in 1947 in Jinan, Shandong. He graduated from the Shandong College of Chinese Medicine in 1970. In the summer of 1963 famous Xingyi Master He Hongbin introduced him to Mr. Hong Junsheng to study Chen Style Taijiquan. As a result, he became Hong’s indoor disciple.

Mr. Cai is honest and humber. He is intelligent and has an insatiable desire to learn. He respects his teacher and his profession. Master Hong Junsheng deeply loved him. Hong taught him Yilu three times with explanations of each move. Master Hong also had high expectations of his physical condition. He introduced Cai to study the pole shaking from Mr. He Hongbin and the art of night walk from famous Qinggong master Wang Qiuxia. Read more

Master Chao Xiuzhen was born in Heze in October of 1940. He is a retired solicitor-general of the Heze government. Currently he is the vice director of “Jinan Zhixing Taiji Shangwu Club”, adviser to the Heze Hong Style Taijiquan Shangwu Activities Center, vice chairman of the Peony District Taijiquan Association of Heze.
