THE DAQINGSHAN INTERNATIONAL TAIJI COMPETITION

MAY 18-19, 2019

Welcome to the updated DQS International Taiji Competition page! This page has all the new details concerning training and staying  in both Rizhao and Daqingshan during the time of the competition. Before you buy your airplane tickets to this wonderful event, we have found  it helps to plan your trip all the way through to either Rizhao, Weifang or Qingdao (which also has a train station) airports as we’ve had competitors buy tickets to Beijing or Shanghai without checking their domestic connecting flight/train times and get stranded in these major cities for an extra night.

PLEASE NOTE:

OUR REGISTRATION FORM IS BEING UPDATED BUT WE RECOMMEND YOU BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS AND ACQUIRE INVITATION LETTERS ASAP TO SECURE YOUR SPOT VIA INTERNATIONAL LIAISON OFFICER

Full Time Training

To enquire about our new Full Time Training Program in both Rizhao and DQS,please follow THIS LINK

Master Chen Zhonghua (International Standard Bearer) will definitely be at Rizhao and Daqingshan (DQS) from May 3rd to May 31st 2019 and possibly longer.

It is also possible that should you wish to arrive before and stay after the competition dates that our training may be moved from DQS to our facilities in Rizhao. All costs are listed below.

Cost at Daqingshan

The following fee includes food (3 meals a day), accommodation (two people sharing a room), lessons, and the DQS competition.

Due to the increase of attendees on DQS during the competition, un-shared room occupancy is not possible, whilst outside of competition times they may be available at an extra 30% per day.

  • Staying for fewer than 14 days: $100 USD per day pp
  • Staying for 14 days or more: $65 USD per day pp (although around Competition Time fees may be higher for short stays and rooms scarce, so book early!)

Cost at Rizhao

Outside of the competition dates we may move the training to Rizhao. Currently we lack our own accommodation and catering facilities there, but can recommend both, having compiled an approximate price list below based on previous experience from international students who have stayed for extensive periods of time. For more information click HERE

The only fixed price is for our training fees.

All amounts are in $USD and current at time of writing (January 2019)

  • Training Fees: $20 USD per day pp
  • Accommodation (Local Hotel): $27 USD per day including breakfast for 2

The above accomodation costs is for a single person paying double occupancy – if shared this cost is split 50-50 which we will try to facilitate should the option be both desired and available.

  • Food & Water: $10 USD per day pp for 2 meals

If your stay includes time spent at both Daqingshan and Rizhao, we will calculate precisely on a per day basis and you will be charged accordingly.
