001 has finally come out. Congrats to Master Chen for such an outstanding disciple.

Ronnie is a wonderful testament to Master Chen Zhonghua’s teachings.

I found the following interesting aspects. These may also be of interest to anyone training in practical method:

1. 001 lives in Regina, Canada, practically in the middle of nowhere and he hasn’t been seeing Master Chen that much in the last few years. He also has no other tai chi influences there. His skills is pure Chen/Hung/Practical Method and he could still progress to a very high level under such condition.

2. 001 didn’t really have anyone to push hand with in Regina but he can execute his moves precisely, effortlessly and he can be lethal if he wants to.

To me this is an indication that if one has gotten the proper foundation and knows the proper methods, one can still move ahead even if he/she is in the Sahara desert or Siberia.
