Video Player Size Increased

by Wilkin Ng on 2011/02/27

I have increased the size of the video player in the individual post page. Click the post title from the home page to see the bigger video size.

Also, the listing for MyFolder is now titles only, to speed up loading time for those that has lots of videos in ‘MyFolder’.

Please let me know what you think in the comments.

They are both great improvement for our viewing. Thank you for changing them.
Is there a way that I can download the video onto my computer so that I can still watch the video when I am not on line??

This website is using a video system like Youtube, you can use browser extension that allow downloading video from Youtube to download video from this site, e.g: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/ for Firefox browser. The downloaded file should be playable using Apple Quicktime video player.

Hi Wilkin,

Thanks for improving all of this.

When I followed the link for the Firefox download helper, it saw that I was using IE. It suggested that I try this download helper for IE: http://www.dh4e.com/

Do you have any knowledge about it? Would it work the same?

Thanks much!

Gene

Hi Gene,

I haven’t tried the plugin you suggested, what I like about the firefox plugin is that it is quite clever in allowing me to download video from various sites. So I recommend you using that instead.

Oh yes, that was very good, I already got little problems loading “my folder”.
On Linux Systems I can also recomment Firefox with DownloadHelper.

When you click “HD on/off” before activating DownloadHelper you can choose which version to download.

Thanks and all the best,
Michael

I used the Firefox DownloadHelper too. It was very easy to use.
