Hands get warm

by webmaster on 2010/10/20

William: Master Chen, I have noticed that my hands get warm when I do a part of the Yilu (First Routine) correctly. What is happening ?
Zhonghua Chen: Nothing is happening. It’s just part of the progress. Stay on track. Ignore what is happening and continue to train correctly. This is where some people will start seeking the sensations that will eventually cause the practice to deviate.

Thank you for this answer and confirmation, Master Chen. I had to learn this the hard way. I paid attention to them. I sought them out. It was at a later date I read somewhere in the classics to NOT remain in these sensations (they are pleasurable), because they will become a path taken, and away from the path of progress. Where we place our mind and intention, our practice will follow? Is this correct? Anyhow. I had to discipline myself to ignore them, and practice, practice, practice.
