Very interesting! Looks not easy…What are the rules for Pushhands Competition? Is it allowed to go down more and lock the leg with hand and push the hip with shoulder?

Hengli: I’m not very familiar with rules, but there was a circle on the floor (hardly seen on video) about 4-5m diameter. You are not allowed grabing, kicking, punching, hooking from behind the opponent head.
You get points on sending opponent down (if I’m not wrong, more parts of opponent body touch the ground brings you more points, highest you get on sending opponent douwn outside od a circle).
Definitly I was not easy, those guys were very well trained for this type of pushhands, I never experienced it before (though I started in other combat tournaments, but long time ago.) I think that most of the students of Master Chen Zhonghua was in about the same situation. From this point of view this competition was big succes for all participants!
This looks like judo or Western wrestling. Push-hand is NOT like this. Declining….
